Great Local Story on Gluten Free in the Chicago Suntimes

I came across this article on the Chicago Sun Times website. Sun Times photographer, Jean Lachat, has celiac disease and she talks about switching to a gluten free diet. Local restaurants with gluten free menus are mentions as are some great links. Check it out!

Also...if you don't read the entire article, you might miss this little bit of great news:

Ina's opens for gluten-free dinner
When Ina Pinkney suspended dinner service in January at her West Loop restaurant because of the limping economy, with it went her popular gluten-free fried chicken nights.Dinner service still is dark at Ina’s, 1235 W. Randolph, but customers clamoring for that chicken have won out — at least for one night. On June 18, Pinkney will open the restaurant at 5 p.m. for a $30, three-course, gluten-free meal. Entree choices will be fried chicken, pan-seared salmon and vegetable risotto. For reservations, call (312) 226-8227.
